FAQs – Candles
Q. Are Kenneth Turner candles hand made?
A. All the candles in glass are hand poured in the UK. In production of the dinner candles, tapers and pillars, the wax is spun around the wick in automated factories.
Q. What type of wax is used?
A. The wax we use for our poured candles is a blend of mineral (paraffin) and vegetable (hydrogenated soy triglyceride) waxes at an approximate 80/20% split. This blend gives us good fragrance and colour stability, as well as good burn performance.
The mineral wax is refined to the highest possible standards of purity.
Our natural candle wax is 100% natural, made predominantly from coconut oil with some soya and vegetable derivatives - this wax contains no Palm Oil which may be associated with environmental issues.

Q. How are the candles fragranced?
